SHINee is a band composed of five members of South Korea, produced and released by SM Entertainment in 2008. He debuted on May 25, 2008 in the agenda of the SBS Popular Songs with the single theme "Replay". Their official color is aqua and their club official is "SHINee World", named after themselves known his first album.

Shinee means “people receiving the light”.The members of SHINee are between 16 and 19 years, so they are still in high school.

SHINee was announced on May 19, 2008, as the " new group " of the SM Entertainment, causing great controversy in juvenile korean public, where they appear as a younger version of the current and successful group TVXQ. The teaser of the first simple "Replay" was thrown the same day in his official site. The SHINee's first minialbum was thrown on May 22, and his debut was realised on May 25 in Inkigayo.
